Runners, walkers, families and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to “Run for the Egg”, a 5-mile cross-country run/walk at Easter Lake Park on Easter weekend. Participants will run or walk on a multi-surface trail. (brochure and map)

Activities for the Day:

8:00 a.m. - Registration at beach parking lot

9:00 a.m. - 5-mile run/walk begins

10:00 a.m. - Youth activities (free)

10:30 a.m. - Awards Ceremony

Awards include handpainted eggs: 1st place - Ostrich egg, 2nd place - Emu egg and 3rd place - Rhea egg. Medals will also be presented. Pre-registration is $20 (includes t-shirt) or $30 the day of the race. Pre-registration deadline is March 26. All ages welcome. To register for this event, go to mycountyparks.com
