This two-part class is targeted to digital SLR camera (digital cameras that utilize interchangeable lenses) users. Join local nature photographer, Ty Smedes, in a “hands-on” nature photography class. During the first evening we will cover equipment, basic digital camera and post-processing concepts, photographic technique, composition, and lighting, as it relates to wildlife, scenic, wildflower, and macro photography. The second evening will take place on July 8, 6:00 p.m. to sunset at Green Meadows West Prairie in Johnston. Students will have the opportunity to perfect their technique in the field, photographing wildflowers. Instructor will assist the students in improving technique.
