Join us as we kayak down the Iowa River which is one of the most scenic rivers in the state. Rocky bluffs and huge maple trees border this beautiful river. Naturalists will guide participants down the river. Bring food and drink. Prior kayak experience is required.
Fee: $35; includes transportation and kayaks. Departure from the parking lot near Bonanza Family Restaurant at 5029 NE 14th St. in Des Moines. (Map). Minimum age 16. Registration deadline is July 11.
