Which way we’ll flow, we just don’t know, but we’ll definitely float. The river will
remain a secret until the morning of the trip. The only way you’ll find out where
we’re going is to sign up. Bring food and drink. Prior kayak experience is required.
Fee: $35; includes transportation and kayaks. Departure from the parking lot near
Bonanza Family Restaurant at 5029 NE 14th St. in Des Moines. (Map). Minimum age 16. Registration deadline is October 10.
