Jester Park - Open Shelter Rentals


Shelter #2
16 picnic tables
Two large grills (ADA) and one small grill
Located on east side of golf course
Parking for 40 cars
Large open area for children's softball or volleyball
Horseshoe pit (bring own horseshoes)
Pit latrine - 50 feet from shelter (not ADA accessible)
Modern restrom 1/4 mile from shelter
No water, dumpster, or garbage cans
Will need to haul garbage to closest dumpster in park



Shelter #3
One large double grill (ADA) and one small grill
12 picnic tables
Located near playground - 50 yards
Located near modern restroom (ADA) - 50 yards
Parking for 30 cars
1/4 mile to lake
Partially open area with mature trees
Horseshoe pit (bring own horseshoes)
Area large enough for volleyball
Dumpster - 100 yards by restroom
Electricity, water hydrant, lights



Shelter #4
One large grill (ADA) and small grill
10 picnic tables
Lake view
Large fire ring on east side of shelter (with two park benches)
200 yards to modern restroom (ADA)
Area large enough for volleyball
Horseshoe pit (bring own horseshoes)
Parking for 35 cars
Water hydrant
Dumpster - 100 yards



Shelter #5
One large grill (ADA) and one small grill
10 picnic tables
Located in wooded setting across from Two Dam Pond
Accessible Pit latrine - 15 yards
Horseshoe pit (bring own horseshoes)
Enough room for volleyball or maybe softball
Parking for 20 cars
No water or garbage cans
Dumpster located 150 yards south of shelter across from Two Dam Pond



Shelter #6
One large grill (ADA) and one small grill
10 picnic tables
Located across from buffalo and elk exhibit
Pit latrine - 250 yards (ADA)
Open site surrounded by heavy timber
Horseshoe pits (bring own horseshoes)
No water, dumpster, or garbage cans
Dumpsters are located at front gate, playground area, and across from Two Dam Pond

An open air mini shelter is located across from Shelter #3. It cannot be reserved. Within the shelter is one large grill and four tables. It is 150 yards from the restroom.
