The Chichaqua Longhouse
The Chichaqua Longhouse is one of our enclosed facilities. It is popular for family
reunions, company picnics, weddings, and other group functions. The longhouse accommodates
up to 125 people and rents for $130. A $100 deposit fee is required on all longhouse
reservations!
Reservations for the enclosed facilities can be made online at
www.mycountyparks.com.
Beer and wine are allowed in Polk County Parks, but special regulations do apply
at the Longhouse. Please contact the Conservation Office for more details.
The Longhouse can be rented from 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. (earlier with Ranger approval)
Reservations are accepted for the current calendar year and the upcoming calendar
year. For example, on January 2, 2009, facility reservations will be accepted for
the 2009 and 2010 calendar years.
The Longhouse is not available for rent the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day,
Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years
Day.

- Restrooms - handicapped accessible
- Tables and Chairs for 120 people
- 100' x 200' Parking Area (up to 75 cars)
The Longhouse can be rented for overnight use by organized youth groups for the
dates of November 1 - April 1 (Exceptions can be made for special circumstances
to have overnight dates during the summer).
Organized groups overnight use - $65 per night.
